Equipment Manager
Responsible for managing, maintaining, and organizing all team equipment including helmets, pads, uniforms, and practice gear. Ensures all equipment meets safety standards and is properly fitted for players.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory management of all team equipment and uniforms
- Coordinate equipment fitting sessions for players
- Maintain and repair equipment as needed
- Ensure compliance with CJFL safety standards
- Manage equipment storage and transportation for games
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail and safety protocols
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment
- Previous equipment management experience preferred
15-20 hours per week during season
Team Photographer/Videographer
Capture game day action, practice sessions, and team events through photography and video. Create compelling visual content for social media, recruiting, and team archives.
Key Responsibilities
- Photograph all home games and select away games
- Record game film for coaching analysis
- Create highlight reels and promotional videos
- Manage photo/video library and archives
- Provide content for social media and website
Qualifications
- Experience with photography/videography equipment
- Knowledge of sports photography techniques
- Video editing skills (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)
- Own camera equipment preferred but not required
Game days plus 5-10 hours editing per week
Social Media Coordinator
Manage the team's social media presence across all platforms. Create engaging content, interact with fans, and build the Sooners brand online.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media content strategy
- Create posts, graphics, and captions for all platforms
- Monitor and respond to fan engagement
- Track analytics and adjust strategy accordingly
- Coordinate with photographers for visual content
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of social media platforms
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop) preferred
- Knowledge of football and CJFL preferred
10-15 hours per week, flexible schedule
Game Day Operations Staff
Support all aspects of home game operations including setup, fan services, concessions, and breakdown. Ensure a professional and enjoyable experience for fans and players.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with field and facility setup before games
- Staff ticket gates and fan information booths
- Support concession operations
- Coordinate parking and crowd management
- Assist with post-game cleanup and breakdown
Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather
- Team player with positive attitude
- Previous event operations experience helpful
Home game days (typically 6-8 hours per game)
Athletic Trainer Assistant
Support the head athletic trainer in providing injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation services to players. Help maintain medical supplies and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with pre-game taping and preparation
- Support injury assessment and treatment
- Maintain medical supply inventory
- Document injuries and treatment protocols
- Coordinate with medical professionals as needed
Qualifications
- First Aid and CPR certification required
- Athletic therapy or kinesiology student preferred
- Knowledge of sports injuries and treatment
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
Practices and games, 15-20 hours per week
Statistics and Data Analyst
Track and analyze game statistics, player performance data, and team metrics. Provide insights to coaching staff for game planning and player development.
Key Responsibilities
- Record live game statistics and play-by-play data
- Compile post-game statistical reports
- Analyze trends and performance metrics
- Maintain player and team statistical databases
- Create visual reports and presentations for coaches
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of football rules and statistics
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Game days plus 5-10 hours analysis per week
Team Administrator
Provide administrative support for team operations including scheduling, communications, registration processing, and general office duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Process player and volunteer registrations
- Coordinate team travel and logistics
- Manage team communications and email
- Maintain player records and documentation
- Support fundraising and sponsorship activities
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience with administrative tasks
- Ability to handle confidential information
10-15 hours per week, flexible schedule
Youth Program Coordinator
Organize and oversee youth football camps, clinics, and community outreach programs. Build relationships with local schools and youth organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute youth football camps and clinics
- Recruit and coordinate volunteer coaches
- Develop age-appropriate curriculum and drills
- Manage registrations and communications with parents
- Build partnerships with schools and community groups
Qualifications
- Experience working with youth and children
- Football knowledge and coaching experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Vulnerable sector check required
